伊藤薫氏（博士後期課程）がAota Masaaki Award 2017を受賞

本コース博士後期課程の伊藤薫氏が国際シンポジウム「The 32nd International Symposium on the Okhotsk Sea and Polar Oceans 2017」（第32回北方圏国際シンポジウム「オホーツク海と流氷」：脚注＊）において、優れた若手研究者 （40歳未満）を表彰する The Aota Masaaki Award 2017, Physical oceanography section（青田昌秋賞2017, 海洋物理部 門）を受賞しました。受賞した発表のタイトルは、Classification of interaction between a vortex and internal waves, and estimates of interaction-induced mixing in the North Pacific Ocean（渦と内部波の相互作用の分類、お よび相互作用が引き起こす混合の見積もり）です。力学的な面白さに加えて内容の発展性が評価されて受賞に繋が りました。
